TO assist in the rehabilitation of persons who have, or will have ostomy related surgery.

TO promote a better understanding of ostomies and related surgeries.

TO be of mutual assistance to each other.

TO assist the medical profession, whenever possible.

TO provide reassurance and emotional support to the family and friends of those who have ostomies or related surgeries.

 TO assist all ostomates and family persons needing help, including preoperative and postoperative visits and/or by telephone.

TO establish and maintain a lending library.

TO conduct visitor training workshops.
